Leanora Minai is the executive director of communications for the Office of Communication Services at Duke University and serves as editor-in-chief for the employee print publication Working@Duke and the Working@Duke digital section on Duke Today, the daily online news site for Duke University. Prior to joining Duke, Leanora was a staff writer for the St. Petersburg Times, now called the Tampa Bay Times. Through strategic communications, her most meaningful work involves lifting up and advancing people and organizations. She received a master’s degree from Duke University in 2021 after completing research that explored grief following fatal automobile crashes.
