Tara Herberth is a senior director in Brand Communication at Kaiser Permanente, one of America’s leading integrated health care providers and non-profit health plans. Kaiser Permanente serves more than 9.3 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia.
In her role, Tara oversees the strategy, planning, and tactical execution of communications programs for initiatives and programs targeted primarily to Kaiser Permanente’s 175,000 employees. She joined the organization in December 2008.
Tara is a seasoned communications executive with more than 25 years of experience in all areas of corporate communications including market research and positioning, thought leadership, strategic communications planning, executive communications, employee communications, marketing communications, public relations/crisis communications, and analyst relations.
Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Tara held communications leadership positions in a variety of companies including Wells Fargo, AT&T (formerly SBC), Pacific Mutual, and several technology start-ups.
Tara received a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in marketing from San Jose State University. She is a member of PRSA and the Arthur W. Page Society Page Up organization, and a graduate of the Page Society Future Leaders Experience.
