Lynn Smith is a graduate of the University of Dayton, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Management. She began her career hospitality in 1995 as a front desk clerk at a Hampton Inn. She worked her way up, serving in various leadership positions at Promus hotel brands, then joined the Hilton Worldwide corporate team in 1997. She served more than 6 years in Hilton Worldwide’s Information Technology group, and then transitioned to the Brand Training team in 2003.
She currently serves as the Director of Culture and Internal Communications for the Hilton Garden Inn brand, where Lynn is focused on building the brand’s culture on a global scale and making sure hotel general managers and owners of more than 600 Hilton Garden Inn hotels receive timely and succinct news and information.
