Kari Blanchard

With over 20 years of experience working on both B2B and B2C client engagements, Kari champions an immersive, engaging and insightful approach to brand building. Her unique ability to focus not just on—but also all around—branding challenges makes her an invaluable asset to clients and colleagues alike.

Kari recently led our landmark, CLIO-award winning brand modernization engagement with American Airlines. While at FutureBrand, she also oversaw the merger of energy providers Exelon and Constellation under one, unified brand.

Prior to FutureBrand, Kari directed global brand engagements at Siegel+Gale, Sterling Brands and Enterprise IG, now Brand Union. Her client list includes: American Express, Asics, Bank of America, CooperVision, IBM, Levi’s, Merck, Microsoft, Motorola, OppenheimerFunds, Sony, Target, United Airlines and Visa.

In 2012, her transformative repositioning of CooperVision was awarded a “Best Of” award by REBRAND. Additionally, her work for Motorola is featured in Grow by Jim Stengel, a comprehensive review of the world’s most prominent brands and the causal relationship between financial performance and a brand’s fundamental ability to connect with human emotions, hopes, values and purpose.

Kari holds a BA in Communications Theory from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
