Jennifer DeCunha is Internal and Online Communications Manager for Capital Power—a power generation company owning assets in the U.S. and Canada. Jennifer joined the company in 2010 as Senior Advisor, Brand & Web Communications, in which capacity she oversaw branding and external online communications and established the company’s external social media program. In 2013, Jennifer assumed responsibility for the company’s internal digital communications.
Prior to joining Capital Power, Jennifer worked in government as an online strategist and graphic designer and for Alberta’s professional nurses’ association as a web editor and strategist. Jennifer spent from 2004-2007 as a contract and freelance writer, editor, designer and online marketer for government, private, and public clients.
Jennifer holds a theology degree from CMU, a certificate in web intelligence from UC Irvine, a diploma in professional writing from MacEwan University and is currently enrolled in the business administration program at UC Irvine.
