I’m passionate about creating value in the world using big data and AI. At Cerkl, we’re using behavioral analytics, machine learning and personalization to bring “intelligence” to the ever-growing flood of content being created. People are overwhelmed, Cerkl delivers the content they want via email, web and mobile — so you don’t have to guess. Using AI to both increase engagement and save time.

Prior to Cerkl, I served as Executive Director of Online Strategies for InfoMotion Sports (IST). At IST, we married IoT, big data and AI to create “smart” sports equipment – providing realtime, personalized prescriptive feedback to athletes.

Prior to IST, I served as a VP of Interactive Games for Los Angeles-based FOX Sports. I oversaw all facets of the online gaming operations for the FoxSports.com Interactive Unit, including WhatIfSports.com based in Cincinnati.

I founded WhatIfSports.com (WIS) in February 2000 and sold it to FOX Interactive Media in September 2005. WIS was a platform based on using AI and statistical modeling to power sports simulations. In just 5 years, I was able to grow WIS from an idea to over 500,000 members and orchestrated partnerships with some of the largest names in sports, including ESPN, Fox Sports, MLB, NBA, and the NHL. In February of 2005, WIS was named Sports Site of the Year by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, beating out both ESPN.com and BBCSports.com.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be named as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
