Sasha D. Jackson is an accomplished communications strategist and communications professional with an extensive background in media, marketing, public relations, social media, higher education, and finance on the national, federal, and local level. She is the Interim Internal Communications Manager for the City of Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management (DWM).  Prior to joining DWM’s Office of Communications and Community Relations, Sasha served as the Marketing Specialist for City of Atlanta’s Police Department (APD). Her diverse communications career also includes production manager, journalist, and media writer. Sasha received the LM Communications 107.9 The BEAT of Lexington Annual Service Award for Outstanding Achievement in Radio Programming. She is a member of PRSA, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Sasha is a native of Lexington, KY and holds a B.A. in Mass Communications and Journalism from Kentucky State University.
