Michelle manages the Customer Adoption Program in the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Mission Support. She educates and inspires employees to change their work habits and use new technologies. She also helps ensure that IT tools meet employees’ needs. She recently spearheaded EPA’s adoption of Teams as its main collaboration tool during pandemic-mandated telework. She uses change management, communications and storytelling strategies to drive organizational transformation and improve the way employees work together. She’s worked on teams that launched EPA’s first Customer Experience program and an award-winning IT Training program. Michelle earned undergraduate degrees in Journalism and English and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She previously worked as a professor in Oaxaca, Mexico.
